The YouResearch Scholars Program is a match-and-mentorship program that connects selected high school juniors with research professors in their area of interest. In addition, each Scholar is assigned one of the YouResearch team's experienced student advisors who will work directly with the student throughout the entire research process.
You must be a high school junior at the time of application. If your school does not have a junior year due to a different curriculum, you must instead be 16-17 years old.
Each year, the YouResearch committee carefully reviews applications and determines the high school students who are prepared for advanced research based on their academic performance, extracurricular involvement, volunteer work, and more. After the holistic review, the committee will reach out to research facilities in their area to find a laboratory suited to their interests.
